The UMI Fund hosts our community of friends and comrades, from among grant partners, fellow travelers, and donors over three days in a series of virtual sessions. We will welcome both new and experienced partners to share experiences, deepen community connections and seek collective strategy insights and alignment.

The Urban Movement Innovation Fund is a donor’s collaborative founded by international philanthropies. We support, incubate, and accelerate strategic elements of the climate movement through cooperation with partners for disruptive, scalable, greenhouse gas mitigation.

We will share perspectives from the various groups and members of our community to build a picture of what seems important and a sense of the landscape as seen from our diverse viewpoints and contexts. And how this strengthens our approach to global solidarity and justice that is adaptive and dynamic, localized and responsive.

Sharing Vision Comparing Notes Between Funders and Field: A global session to collectively explore new opportunities, insights and alignment from this diverse, international and cross-sectoral group.

For this session, you are warmly invited to join us as UMI Fund hosts a global community gathering of partners, fellow travelers and funders. Together we will exchange stories and discuss how we can continue to strengthen our connections and collaborations. We will hear about the lessons of the past year, before sharing our hopes, intentions and priorities for the coming year.

We’ll have some dedicated time hearing from some of the big climate funders, deepening our understanding of their world. A deep, participatory discussion for everyone will bring the experience and expertise of the whole group to reflect, gain insights, and spot opportunities for transformative change.

Our hope is that everyone taking part will benefit, leaving inspired, energised and with new ideas and connections to help supercharge our collective impact.
